Carrier Infinity Furnaces in Indianapolis

November 29, 2011  |  Posted by bschutt |  Comments Closed

Fresh off our visit from the Carrier furnace manufacturing plant on Indianapolis’ west side, I wanted to pen a quick note for those interested in the best furnaces on the market, it’s the Carrier Infinity line.

I’ll tell the whole story of meeting the engineers behind this great equipment & the top thermostat on the market, and seeing the highly efficient assembly line in action, but suffice it to say that I walked away more impressed than ever in our decision to carry Carrier products.

These Infinity furnaces have the highest levels of R&D in the HVAC market, done locally, and tested more thoroughly than any competitors products, to provide the highest efficiency heating options anywhere.  If you’re looking for quiet operation, check that box.  If you’re looking to save on gas & electric bills, the Infinity has you covered.  If you’re looking for seamless adaptation into an older home, with possibly suspect duct design, the Infinity line can adapt to its surroundings.

These furnaces incorporate much of the technology advances that have made the rest of our lives easier.  We’d love to talk to you more, and answer any questions you might have.  Give us a call 317.670.0171

In spite of the mayhem of Black Friday, we do like savings.  So, here’s the deal, any new installation customer referred to us before Friday – all of the sales commission will come to you.  Or, if you’re a new customer, we’ll take that commission right off the top.  This could be hundreds of dollars in your pocket for Christmas.  Just submit your referrals here, or email me at Brian@TrustHomesense.com.

A Homesense Thanks for Thanksgiving

November 22, 2011  |  Posted by bschutt |  Comments Closed

Gratitude is a quality similar to electricity: it must be produced and discharged and used up in order to exist at all.  ~William Faulkner

Thanksgiving might be the most uniquely American of all our holidays.  We all know the story of the Pilgrims, only with the help of some native American Indians were they able to survive the torturous New England winter.  The American-ness extends beyond just this foundational story, but is woven throughout our history.  While American’s are known as individualists, the reality is that no one achieves any level of success in isolation.  And, unlike many other countries, with built in hierarchies established over centuries of caste and pseudo-caste systems, America is still a land of opportunity (no matter what people maybe occupying).

It is in this proud tradition of American business, that we take a moment to say thanks. There are many in the Indianapolis area that have been supportive of our growth this year, but we want to highlight a few.

In guidance, support, and friendship the following people have made this year the best one yet for Homesense: my wife Tiffany Schutt (@TiffanySchutt), besides being the coolest person I know, is also our biggest cheerleader, friends and business advisers and supporters: Seth & Jackie Morales (@smorales84), Mark Riggle, Kyle Lacy (@kyleplacy), Mason Hughes, ( Joe Dudeck (@joetography), Jeremy Dearringer (@PapaSlingshot), Drew Schroeder (@drewschroeder), Randy Stocklin (@RandyStocklin), Mike Morris, Andrew Dick, Eddie Sans (@EddieMetSalad), Gabe Young (@GJCYoung), Brent & Jen Whaley (@whaleyb0) (@whaleyjen), Paul Poteet (@PaulPoteet), Cody Rivers (@bcrivers), Lauren Kriner (@laurenkriner), Judy & Mike Cohen, Allison Steck (@alsteck), Eric & Kelly Smith (@esmith14nd), Adam & Cara Weber (@adam_weber) (@cara_weber)… there are likely many more of you that helped throughout this year, and I’m sure I’ll be embarrassed when you remind me.  Know that it’s more of a consequence of rampant ADD, than any intentional omission.

If our Thanksgiving table was big enough, or if by some act of God we became John Madden and were able to distribute turkey legs, you would all be receiving one from us.

Thank you!

Fast Furnace & Heating Service for Indianapolis

November 1, 2011  |  Posted by bschutt |  Comments Closed

There’s no such thing as a non-emergency furnace service call in Indianapolis.  We live in weather conditions that force furnaces, heat pumps, and emergency heat to go out all throughout the winter.  When one of these stops working, time is of the essence.  Not just because you’re uncomfortable, but you might have kids that are more susceptible to cold conditions, pipe’s can freeze and cause serious water damage, and plenty of other household risks.

We understand that.  That’s why it’s our priority to provide fast furnace service that isn’t out of your budget.  That combination is the key, while some companies claim to be there in an hour, you’ll end up paying 4 times our rates, for techs getting there around the same time as Homesense.

Did your furnace go out?  We’d love to help.  With all experienced technicians, great prices for furnace installation, and great financing options, coupled with our fast service, you’ll quickly find out why Homesense is rated A+ on Better Business Bureau, 5 Stars on Google Local, and A on Angie’s List.

Furnace Installation in Indianapolis – A Customer Story

October 20, 2011  |  Posted by bschutt |  Comments Closed

We have a lot of smart customers at Homesense.  This isn’t just brown-nosing, it’s the truth.  Most of our customers call us knowing exactly what they expect from their HVAC provider, having researched the internet, consulted friends and family. and read reviews and testimonials of other customers.

We love it when our customers have done the research, because they ask really great questions.  With informed customers asking great questions, we are really able to walk through some of the major differentiators with our customers.

One such story happened in a conversation this week, in talking to a customer about a potential furnace installation.  He had done his research, and knew that while their are many brands at different levels of quality, more than anything else it is the quality of installation that determines the long term performance of the equipment.  That bears repeating, more than anything else a quality installation is going to determine how long your equipment will last.

We love to hear questions like that, because it is one of the main factors within our recruitment of technicians.  While most companies put their most rookie technicians on their installation teams, at Homesense we have seasoned service technicians working in all facets of the HVAC cycle, including installation.  An experienced technician doing your furnace installation means higher quality control, fewer issues through the life of your equipment, allowing it to last longer, leaving more money in your pocket.

So, if you’ve found us while doing your research, keep it up.  When you’re comfortable with the direction you want to go, give us a call, we’re ready for your questions.
